Probably the most challenging from a creative point of view, the garden was at an angle from the house to an outside building, there was very little space and as usual standard fencing on either side, creatively Christian came up with the answer, bespoke fence, with beautiful slate entertaining space, rustic brick retaining wall and brick zig zag path with Planting pockets to hide the sunny composite deck at the top. Great client who again was happy with us to lead the project but as usual we work organically with them to make sure everyone is happy. oh yes and not forgetting a bespoke water feature, only small but clever.
Great Design and good budget for this garden, it was a complete design from the back of the house out, and one we are all proud of, from a good patio space for 3 seating areas, to a bespoke water feature designed by Christian and made by the local blacksmith, including steel planters for the patio area keeping a rustic but contemporary element to composite decking leading and surrounding an outdoor office all ready installed and a brand new border on the left leading out to the most important element 'the view'.
Small Garden, Big Design, lots to achieve in a small space but a beautiful transformation, Beach look from the cladding, Sail shade with reclaimed steel pipes and a hand made Steel water tank to finish this look, with a personal nod to the Post Box, something for the client. Lawn was required as still a growing family, however a more usable space for all.
A great example of balance with three hard standing areas and three planting areas, with the materials kept to the same scheme.

Mr D controlling the proceedings during a move of 140 tonne of York stone for a backdrop rockery to a beautiful pond that was moved 15 meters back from it's original position, then the pond looking good and rockery planted with lots of wildlife, a stream was also created leading down to a marsh garden.
