Designing your garden space….
…..July, please, please, let’s see that lovely sunshine, so we can utilise our gardens. With all the flower shows happening, and giving everyone ideas for the garden it’s a fun time of year, to finish off jobs, getting to entertain, eating outside, picking cut flowers from the garden or just lounging in the sun with a G&T. With one big garden design down we are moving onto the next, it’s always a strange moment when you walk away, even the clients say, we are going to miss everyone being here and talking about it, but it’s then your time to enjoy the space created. We’ll pop back and take some pics when everything is settled. We eventually got rain in June as usual so that slowed some jobs down especially on the gardening side, but it was good for our planting plans that were coming to fruition, one in particular will be fun to show you once settled in as the brief was ‘lots of colour and blousy please’ of course that was great shopping for us, it always is fun anyway but sometimes there’s more of a buzz! Excuse the pun, all the busy bees, which we must encourage. Wildlife gardens and naturalist planting are becoming more popular, and this is a lovely way of planting especially in those spaces that suit such schemes. However, you can still have your wildlife even if your planting schemes are more controlled, there are so many plants in this world that encourage more species into our gardens, the smallest steps can be just as effective in your environment than you think, a small tree will encourage birds, natural hedgerows are great for food, simple plants like foxgloves are great for insects, and don’t forget the natural predators within the insect world can help with your garden and it’s development. If you are looking for help with a garden project whether the Design or Landscaping or both, please call we can always help, Consultancy and Advice also available 😊01420 83471 Lynn and Christian Dupont MNB Designs Ltd
